I was born and raised in Central Ohio and grew up with several family members in real estate.  I worked for them from middle school through college, and that provided me early exposure to property management, home building, rehabbing, rehab lending, and real estate investments.  That was during the great recession, so that experience afforded me valuable perspective on changing markets and economic cycles in real estate.  I graduated from Miami University’s Farmer school of business with a degree in Finance in 2013.  Since then, I have founded and managed multiple real estate investment businesses.  These businesses include development & new construction, property management, rehabbing, property flipping, and opportunity zone funds & businesses.  I have helped manage hundreds of rental properties at a time, while also closing over one thousand real estate transactions as a principal and agent.  I have bought, sold, owned, and managed residential, industrial, retail, and office properties.  I am seasoned in many legal aspects of real estate such as title issues, foreclosures, contract & business disputes, and zoning code.  I also have experience utilizing both local and federal tax incentives in real estate investments.  My specialty (other than valuation) and favorite real estate activity is finding off market deals and making them available to my clients or purchasing them myself as an investment.  I have been a licensed real estate agent since 2015 which has helped facilitate my ability to analyze the market in more detail as well as bring opportunity properties to market.  When it comes to real estate, I have a burning desire to know how everything works.  I believe this trait along with my experience makes me an asset to any client.  An example of me being a real estate nerd is that when I started working in the industry, I memorized every Columbus area zip code so I would know where a property was without having to search the address.  That time savings can really add up!     

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, golfing, playing basketball, lifting weights, running, and watching sports.
